Are You A Natural Healer?

Healers are highly in tune with the emotions of those around them. They build trust with you by paying attention, listening deeply, offer a shoulder to cry on, or witness you during a struggle. Their presence alone brings relief to your pain. Their words are validating and encouraging. You leave their presence feeling energized with clarity on your next steps.

Healers can also hold loving space to help you see what your part is in taking responsibility. They can aid you in not being afraid to look at the shadow side of yourself. They empower you to dig deeper into these hidden parts to find your truth.

These healers are often people in our lives who wouldn't consider themselves a healer but more a friend, mother, father, child, co-worker, yoga teacher, etc. They are the natural-born healers whose presence alone brings light to the world because this level of soul healing is a part of their essence that even they can't explain or define.

These healers often have too strict or too weak boundaries because they are taken advantage of or need to people please. They often become burnt out but continue to push themselves because their compassion extends mostly to others and not themselves. Their most potent life lesson will be to use their magic to hold the healing space they freely give to others for themselves. Once they work on this area of their life, the possibilities of how they want to live and the energy they want to experience can be endless.

These healers often live in a highly anxious state of being that they don't even realize because anxiety has become second nature. They tend to know what their bodies need to thrive but struggle following through out of fear of their power and the unknown of how fully receiving their gifts would change their lives.

We are wired for safety and survival. We most likely are fearful due to our upbringing, traumas, deep wounds and hurts. We are fearful on a cellular level because we remember how it was unsafe in past lives and often led to painful deaths to own our magic. So we hesitate in this lifetime. We integrate and learn other lessons. We heal those wounds. We are discerning on who gets to see the real magical beings that we are. Few get glimpses. Even when it shows we deny or play down our power.

Our work becomes peeling back the layers on all levels.

It's time to rise up but maybe not in the way you are used to hearing. Rise up by taking a look at your nervous system and what it needs to feel calm. What do you need to feel safe in your body, your mind, your emotions, and with other people?

If people were to see your talents on a bigger platform, what do you need to do to feel prepared to handle the naysayers and hypocrites?

Our job is to learn the tools needed to support ourselves and not expect things to be perfect but to expect to know what we need when things don't go perfectly. We need to learn to say no and not feel guilty about it. That is how we rise. From there, we listen to our intuition, we let divine timing shine, and we surrender to our power.

There are times in our lives where we have to walk the path alone—hopefully knowing that someone is there when you are ready. Sometimes we must walk the path in community to strengthen our power and to be seen. And other parts of our path require a mentor, therapist, or guide of some sort to show you different perspectives but honoring your intuition while you work together. No one other than you knows what's best for you, and ultimately it's your journey and your timeline that you'll take.

So wherever you may be in your path, may you be healthy, may you happy, may you be safe, and may you live your life with ease.

And if those things don't feel genuine, may you be right where you are and know that you are still perfect and worthy.

Hugs,

Laura
